About Airport Paint & Body
We use the best tools and a simple process to make sure your car is safe and looks like new again after a wreck.
Sixty Years Of Service
A Story Built on Hard Work and Honest Repairs
Airport Paint & Body is run by a local family that has been in the car business for a very long time. It all started way back in the 1960s when Eddie Thomas’s grandfather ran a small Sunoco gas station and tow truck service. Later, Larry Thomas opened his own repair shop in 1972 to help more people in Northern Kentucky. Eddie started Airport Paint & Body in 2005 to bring the latest technology to that same family tradition. Even though we have grown to six shops across the area, we still treat every customer with the same care that our family started with over sixty years ago.

High-Tech Restoration
Using the Best Tools to Keep Your Family Safe
Our main goal is making sure your vehicle is as strong and safe as it was before the accident happened. We use special machines like Chief Technology Systems to fix the heavy metal frame of your car. We also use the Spies Hecker paint system to make sure the color matches perfectly and stays bright for years to come. Because our shops have earned top ratings like I-CAR Gold Class and special approval for Nissan and Infiniti cars, you can trust that we know exactly how to handle your specific ride. We even talk to the insurance company for you so you do not have to worry about the paperwork or the details.

Common Questions About How We Fix Your Car
What does pre-accident condition mean for my car?
This means we fix the frame, the safety parts, and the paint so they match the way the maker first built the car. We use special tools to make sure everything is lined up just right.
Who talks to the insurance company?
We do that part for you. We send them pictures of the damage and work with them to get the repairs paid for so you can stay focused on your daily life.
Why do you have to take my car apart to give me a final price?
Sometimes a wreck breaks parts that are hidden deep inside where we cannot see them at first. Taking the broken panels off lets us find every problem now so we can fix it correctly the first time.
Will the paint match the rest of my vehicle?
Yes, we use a computer to find the exact color match for your car. The Spies Hecker system we use helps the new paint blend in so no one can tell there was ever a scratch.
Is there a guarantee on the work you do?
We give you a limited lifetime warranty. This means we stand behind our repair work for as long as you are the owner of the vehicle.
